Candidates for crawler and truck-mounted crane technician positions should have the following qualifications and certifications:

Extensive conventional crane experience
Several years experience with maintenance and repair of various cranes such as Manitowoc, Grove, National, Terex, Liebherr, Kobelco, and other makes
Strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background
Clean driving record
Certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence
Certification as a master medium/heavy truck technician
