| Job Description : | This company needs a few Journeyman Licensed Electricians to work along side the Heavy Duty Mechanics to strengthen their maintenance team. Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, these Electricians are responsible for maintenance, alteration, repair and testing of electronic systems and components on large haul trucks and various mining equipment. Haul truck experience and working on AC/DC motors around this equipment is a must. You will have a valid Alberta or interprovincial electrical trade license with a good understanding of distributed control systems, programmable logic controls (PLC's) and microprocessors. Excellent troubleshooting skills are also required. Being involved in Mining in the past and having a good understanding of its heavy equipment is a definite asset to this company. You must also pass a mandatory drug & medical test to obtain an offer from this company, which is a strict policy and a requirement for any skilled tradesman at their site.

| Compensation : | $36.00 per hour + $.50 per hour tool allowance, $.60 per hour boot & coverall allowance, $26 per day travel allowance for each day you work on site, $3.00 per hour "trade retention bonus" & a full benefit package after the 3-month probation period. The benefit package consist of employee and dependant medical/dental coverage and a company match RRSP plan. Hard hat and safety glasses provided by the company at no cost. They also offer 12 paid vacation days per year, then 16 paid vacation days per year after 5 years of employment. Please keep in mind that the province of Alberta offers 11 statutory holidays every year as well. As permanent relocation to Grande Cache is expected, they also offer a $5,000 relocation package complete with free housing assistance for at least one month to get familiar with the area. |
| Shifts : | 4-days on/4-days off rotation of 12 hour shifts. Some decent overtime is available on your days off as well, paid at time and a half. |
